About Panel Grove Field
Registered custody advisory practice in Jeju, South Korea, specialising in annual review planning for offline cryptocurrency reserves.
Registered business
Panel Grove Field Custody Advisory is the official registered business name of Panel Grove Field. We were established in 2019 in Jeju City to serve families and small treasuries who keep cryptocurrency reserves entirely offline and need annual documentation that trustees and counsel can rely on.
Origin
The practice began when two former Jeju bank vault operations staff — one handling safe deposit logistics, the other managing document custody for corporate clients — began assisting local families who had moved Bitcoin and other assets to hardware wallets without a written custody record. What started as informal envelope labelling grew into scheduled annual review engagements once trustees and attorneys asked for repeatable, signed reports.
We chose the name Panel Grove Field to reflect the editorial ledgers we produce: panelled custody maps bound like field notebooks, carried between offline sites across the island and mainland.
Expertise
Our practitioners hold backgrounds in bank operations, physical document custody, and certified information handling. We do not provide investment advice, trading services, or networked wallet management. Our work is limited to planning, on-site examination, rehearsal, and written reporting for offline reserves.
Working approach
Every engagement assumes devices stay powered off unless a supervised recovery drill explicitly requires otherwise. Seed phrases are never requested by email or over unsecured phone lines. Site visits use tamper-evident bags, pre-printed ledgers, and cameras that never connect to client networks.
We coordinate with Jeju bank vault hours, mainland ferry schedules, and family signing calendars — especially before winter when key holders often travel.
Values
- Verifiable records — trustees should read a report and know what was seen, where, and by whom
- Offline discipline — no step in our process requires internet access at the storage site
- Plain language — custody maps written for family signatories, not only for technicians
Relationship to clients
Most clients return annually and add mid-year audits after moves or family changes. We maintain no access to client keys and retain only the custody reports clients choose to file with us for continuity.
