Supervised offline drill to confirm that documented recovery steps produce the expected test wallet balances without exposing live seed material.
Purpose
Reserve holders who have never tested recovery — or who changed passphrase schemes after initial setup — use this session to walk through documented steps using test wallets or blank hardware. The goal is evidence that your written procedures match physical reality.
What happens
Practitioners observe each signing authority perform their role, time each step, and note equipment failures or missing materials. The session stops if live seed phrases would be exposed in an unsafe setting.
Deliverable
Signed drill report with step timings, participant roles, and a plain-language list of corrections to your custody map. Mild reservations are expected; the report states what still needs work.
